  • Tree Action Seattle

    Tree Action Seattle is a sponsored organization of the Seattle Parks Foundation. They work to inform the public on ways to get active about protecting the existing tree canopy in seattle.

  • Trees for Seattle

    Trees for Seattle is the umbrella for all of the City of Seattle's urban forestry efforts. Their commitment is to ensure that Seattle's forest is healthy, vibrant, supported, and growing. Trees for Seattle offers free trees to seattle residents (they maintain them for the first two years). They also have a number of volunteer opportunities!

  • City Fruit

    City Fruit’s (Seattle based) mission is to harvest and steward urban fruit trees to support sustainable and equitable access to fruit. They annually harvest ~30,000 pounds of quality fruit from residential fruit trees and public orchards. This fruit is distributed to over 30 food banks, meal programs, schools, and community organizations.

  • Rainforest Trust

    Rainforest Trust works to protect tropical ecosystems and species by partnering with local organizations and communities to establish and expand protected areas, such as reserves and parks. Their work aims to conserve critical habitats, prevent deforestation, slow climate change by storing carbon, and support the rights and well-being of Indigenous and local peoples in the tropics and subtropics.

  • The Giving Grove

    The Giving Grove’s mission is to provide healthy calories, strengthen community, and improve the urban environment through a nationwide network of sustainable little orchards. They operate in Atlanta, Auburn, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, Omaha, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, South Bend, St. Louis & Seattle.

  • Arbor Day Foundation

    The Arbor Day Foundation is a global nonprofit dedicated to planting trees. Since 1972, they’ve planted more than half a billion trees in over 60 countries. Their current mission is to plant 500 million trees by 2027 with a dedicated focus on forests and communities most in need of trees.
